Learning to write from a point of view

Lesson today on writing from the point of view of the wolf in LLRH. Kids really enjoyed this. Scaffolded with You tube clip for those that didn't know the story, and yes there was some. Modelled myself from the POV of LRRH.
What I am noticing is the kids really want to share on the authors spot all itching to have their turn. D. O'N wanted to share and really enjoying his writing.

KD wrote a good amount and is beginning to edit by adding more interesting words and fixing some list words without a dictionary. His Nsteps I have noticed are using fullstops and speech marks correctly. He is using some good descriptive words. urface features need attention, capital letters, full stops etc.

MD Nsteps - Speech marks as well. Good variation on sentences, particularly short sentences for impact and pace.

C B. found her voice today too, which was great to see, great personal voice in her writing and using complex and compound sentences. Needs lots of scaffolding, need to get her believing in herself and build confidence.
