Too often over time the LI's become boring. Teacher needs to explain the why in the LI. Why should we learning these things. Not
LI. We are learning to use capital letters and full stops
An e.g. from the book: It is better to say when we are communicating with others we want to separate our ideas to others so that they see each idea clearly - (in little packets).
Success criteria we will have capital letters and full stops in the right palce e.g. beginnings of sentences names etc
Relevance so that others can understand all our ideas in out writing.
Big question as a teacher:
How do we really understand when you have framed your LI's properly so that they are not just shallow and superficial? Need to keep working on this alone
How?
Ask the students and colleagues to really critique my LI'S.
Look at the Li's in our progressions and think of the why and give this explanatin wtto students this will be a great way to co construct LI's and SC's with the students. Then look at exemplars of these.
Speaking of exemplars I ahve added a folder of great 2017 ideas to our Aroha Drive to go back to for future years
