M.D. - next step: get him with a whiteboard to change each sentence he has done and change to the present tense -

So maybe focus on using a plan to sequence ideas - paragraphs.

To use basic punctuation that is mostly correct: capital letters, full stops, commas, and speech marks.
To organise related ideas into paragraphs.
THINKING OF ADDING A 10 MIN SLOT AT THE END OF WRITING LESSONS TO ALL SWAP AND BUDDY READ AT THE SAME TIME, RATHER THAN IN THE PAST THEY BUDDY CHECK AT DIFFERENT TIMES AS EACH FINISHES AT DIFFERENT TIMES. I AM GOING TO DO THIS BECAUSE I THINK IT'S A GOOD WAY TO GET THEM TO READ/ REFLECT ON THE SUCCESS CRITERIA AND MORE EXAMPLES FOR THEM. THE TARGETS TO BE PAIRED UP WITH GOOD WRITERS
