COL/St Mary's adapted Literacy Progressions.

Worked with Jude Parkes and adapted the progressions into a teacher draft (every child's name) and  one for students. This has been shared with my TLIF students.

They worked with their good writing buddies and me and highlighted the goal they are working on, we unpacked this and then they assessed a piece of writing they did this week. This was over and above the LI of the lesson.
Peer, self and teacher assess. Helped the students really know their goal and what it involved.

Each child bookmarked this sheet so they can find it easily.

All students for next year will do this and key to having the right buddies.

We need consistency on and the time to do this. Workshops explicitly teaching this skill.

Communication to home? At the moment I have just shared the doc (view only) and will reshare each time a student has shown some evidence. When they have achieved this then maybe a blogger reflection and the highlight gets changed to a different colour.
